What's new at CoinCodex?

We’ve shipped another round of CoinCodex updates as we continue expanding our coverage beyond crypto. This release brings more accurate data for stocks, forex, and precious metals, new tools for exploring gold, silver, and Bitcoin, and a number of improvements across the platform.

📊 New Gold-to-Silver Ratio Page

You can now track the Gold-to-Silver Ratio directly on CoinCodex. The ratio shows how many ounces of silver are needed to buy one ounce of gold, providing a simple way to compare the relative value of the two precious metals.

The new page lets you follow the ratio over time and explore how the relationship between gold and silver has changed historically.

₿ New Bitcoin Retirement Calculator

We’ve also launched a new Bitcoin Retirement Calculator, giving you an easy way to explore how different Bitcoin investment scenarios could affect a long-term retirement plan.

Adjust your assumptions and instantly see how the projection changes, making it simple to compare different scenarios without doing the calculations manually.

🌐 Better Data & Infrastructure for More Markets

We’ve moved our non-crypto markets to new infrastructure, providing more accurate and extensive historical data for stocks, forex, gold, silver, and other assets.

More importantly, this lays the groundwork for what comes next. The new infrastructure makes it easier for us to expand CoinCodex with broader coverage of commodities, indices, international stocks, forex, and other global markets.

🔧 Other improvements & fixes

We’ve also rolled out a number of smaller updates focused on data accuracy, usability, and overall site polish:

Improved stock dividend pages: More reliable dividend information and fixes across our stock dividend pages.
Better crypto market cap charts: Updated historical event markers and a new toggle for showing or hiding events on the chart.
More accurate market data: Fixes for forex price changes and currency labels, stock volume data, Pre-IPO stock pages, and cryptocurrency supply information.
Improved widgets & UI: CoinCodex widgets can now automatically match the light or dark theme of the page they’re embedded on, alongside fixes to exchange ROI colors and gold and silver voting elements.
