MANTRA token sinks 18% to record low amid blockchain halt

MANTRA’s native token plunged 18.5% from its 24-hour high to a record low of $0.004126 late Thursday, shortly before the MANTRA Chain stopped producing blocks. The token later recovered to around $0.0044 but still traded down roughly 10% over 24 hours, with trading volume surging nearly 600% to $24 million. The project said it was “aware of an incident” and halted the network as a precaution, adding that no root cause or timeline was yet available.
