🔵 DappRadar's $RADAR token has seen a strong 11% weekly increase in value, organically built through onchain engagement.

🟦 Cross-chain protocol LayerZero has acquired bridging platform Stargate for $110 million, after 4 companies were bidding. Wormhole, another bridging platform, campaigned against the acquisition under the argument of centralization.

🔷 XAI Games is suing Elon Musk's AI company xAI for trademark infringement. Mother company Ex Populus, based in Delaware USA, shared.

🔵 Apple has patched a zero-click exploit that could've made a huge impact on crypto users, resulting in the lost of funds. Macbook, iPad and iPhone users need to update their devices immediately.

🟦 The EU wants to be fast with the launch of a digital euro, and they are now looking at Ethereum and Solana for a possible deployment. (Financial Times)

🔷 Immutable has announced a partnership with GAMEDIA, the Dutch game studio behind Spider Tanks. A possible revival of the team-based action game isn't yet confirmed.

🔥 Football.fun is stealing the show on Base

Football.fun is a sports prediction platform combined with features from fantasy football games. Since its launch at the beginning of August, Football.fun has attracted just over 11,000 active wallets. These users have put over $20 million into the platform. And on social media some people are posting that they turned $1,000 into $10,000 within a few days. Judging by these numbers, the amount of players can increase a lot as the product improves.

For example, with Sorare we register 38,490 traders in the past 30 days. However, the number of active players is much higher for Sorare. That's an easy x3 for Football.fun to reach the same numbers.

At the same time, we're close to a new season of the Champions League and the national competitions in Europe all just started. Of course there's a risk that Football.fun sees a drop in activity and with that the appeal to play disappears, but for now it has the early vibes of Friend.tech... that means high-rewards that come with even higher risks.

Linea TVL is on the rise - DappRadar page

The Linea ecosystem is on its way towards broader adoption. In the past 7 days, Linea has seen a 129% increase in total value locked in its DeFi services. That's $463 million in TVL, and lending platform Aave V3 is leading the pack with $220 million on Linea alone.

In addition, there's Renzo. This restaking platform grew its TVL on Linea by 90% to $158 million. That's the type of growth that's positioning Linea for further adoption, as more liquidity opens up more possibilities inside an ecosystem.

🔥 Charizard NFT sold for $23,250 last week

WestcoastinNFT (check out their wallet) purchased a 2021 25th Anniversary Promo Pack card of Charizard for $23,250 through Courtyard. The NFT has now been burned, suggesting it has been claimed for a physical redemption.
