☁️ Google Cloud is now leveraging blockchain technology to enhance their payment systems. Reportedly they are even working on their own (centralized) chain, called GCUL.

🎮 Play Solana to ship a handheld game console called PSG1, which comes with a built-in wallet and fingerprint security. It costs $329, but a limited edition version of the handheld device goes for $349. Shipping will start on October 6, 2025.

💎 Anome card game brings blockchain innovation!

Anome is a fully onchain trading card game where you earn, battle and trade NFT cards. In the past week the dapp attracted over 9,000 active wallets, up 9,520% from the week before. At the base of this success lies a unique blend of GameFi, DeFi and SocialFi.

Players need to tactically place their cards to claim victory. Before the game begins, each players places 5 cards in the pool. After the match, one random card from the pool gets burned. The other 9 cards go to the winner. The loser? They benefit from "Loss Mining", earning vNOME and xNOME which can convert to $bNOME. Winners and losers both win something from playing the game!

Anome uses the ERC-404 standard, which allows for NFT trading as if these are ERC-20 tokens. The earlier mentioned burn mechanic of the NFT cards, therefore as a direct impact on the price of those NFTs. Essentially, the ERC-404 token standard allows NFTs to be fractionalized, allowing you to trade fractions of an NFT.

The developers have plans to propose ERC-404 as an official Ethereum token standard. But so far they haven't submitted an Ethereum Improvement Proposal, or EIP. The development team at Anome is busy anyways...

There's an Anome token in development, planned for Q3 2025. The team will also transition to protocol development, and integrate with more chains and projects. By the end of 2025 they want to have Series A investment round, their own Anome chain announcement, and new games coming. While in 2026 they aim to introduce SocialFi and competitive tournaments.
