🔎 "Rugpulls happen less often, but with bigger impact"

While incidents like Mantra Network attract attention, they're far from isolated. Rugpulls remain one of the most persistent threats in the Web3 space. But the data tells a more nuanced story, 2025 is shaping up to be a year of fewer, but far more impactful scams.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Web3 ecosystem has lost nearly $6 billion to rugpulls. In comparison, during the same period in early 2024 ,roughly three months and a few days into the year, total losses from rugpulls stood at just $90 million. This represents a staggering 6,499% increase in value lost when comparing 2025 to 2024.

However, in early 2024 a total of 21 separate incidents were recorded. Yet, in 2025 only 7 have been reported so far, marking a 66% decrease in frequency year-over-year.

🟢 Selfmade Billionaire helps MARBLEX grow 1,827%

Gaming platform MARBLEX, built on Immutable zkEVM, has seen its onchain accounts grow 1,827%% to 43,960 active wallets. This growth can't be seen separately from the success of Selfmade Billionaire, a newly launched mobile simulation game. The game is now available on Android.

The MARBLEX ecosystem also offers the MMORPG Ni No Kuni, the action game A3: Still Alive, and management game Meta World: My City. Third parties have connected Solo Leveling, and King Arthur: Legends Rise to the platform as well.

⛽ CoPump on Soneium now 4th biggest memepad

Anybody can launch a memecoin through CoPump. Similar to other platforms, CoPump allows you to launch a token without any presales. The platform launched this year, peaked by the end of March and recently made a bit of a comeback. On 14 and 15 April the platform attracted approximately 1,500 active wallets per day, but that number is now decreasing again.

These numbers place CoPump in 4th place for the Token Launch Platform Rankings. Market leader remains Pump.fun, followed by GamerBoom and the Telegram-platform Blum Memepad. Do you think CoPump can enter the Top 3 next week?

💚 Abstract has lots of green, even for NFTs

Among all the L2 networks, Abstract stands out from the crowd thanks to its impressive growth metrics. Its number of active wallets grew 19% to 107,840 active wallets. That's still a small number when compared to Solana's 15 million. However, NFT trading volume is impressive.

With 15 million active wallets, Solana recorded just below $1 million in NFT trading volume. At the same time Abstract grew its trading volume 258% this week to $994,000. This means that Abstract is the 6th biggest chain in terms of NFT trading volume. These numbers only come from Magic Eden, which is more and more positioning itself once again as a market leader.

Only Ethereum, Immutable X and zkEVM, Polygon and TON are placed higher than Abstract. While reputable chains like Solana, Base, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum and Ronin have lower trading volumes registered in our rankings.
