🌞 Positive vibes: Hope for NFTs, Unichain shaping up, and AI agents revived

💥 Beacon of NFT hope: Pudgy Penguins

The 3 best performing NFT collection have all seen their volume at least double in the past week. Pudgy Penguins increased its trading volume by 206% to $5.28 million, placing it in 2nd place behind the RWAs from Courtyard. Lil Pudgys grew 117% to $1.6 million, and the PudgyPresent collection went up 244% to $117,970. That means that the Pudgy community did $7 million in NFT trading volume.

Also important, the PENGU token went up 141% during that timeframe, reaching a price of $0.0123 at the current moment.

🤖 Virtuals resurfaces as a leader in AI agents

Virtuals Protocol has seen some strong performance this week, in part to their handling is certain scams happening through their protocol. The result is some renewed confidence, which impacted token prices. Tokens like MOTHER, GAME by Virtuals and VaderAI by Virtuals went up 200% or more in the past week.

The protocol's own token went up 116% in the past week, reaching a price of $1.27. The VIRTUAL token did not see this price point since February this year.

🌳 Treeverse MMORPG grows 200% with launch

Fantasy MMORPG Treeverse has seen the number of wallets tapping into its onchain system grow 209% to 5,790. The data peaked on 27 April with 4,810 wallets, recording the highest number since the dapp went live in February. Treeverse has an airdrop campaign live where users can earn IMX, MON and END tokens.

📊 Unichain is shaping up nicely with 112% growth

Uniswap Labs launched Unichain in February, and right now the ecosystem is sitting on $486 million in total value locked. This liquidity that can easily be shared across the OP Superchain ecosystem, which consists of Optimism, Soneium, Zora, Lisk, Base and others. In the past week, the TVL on Unichain grew 112%, and this success was driven by the growth from Uniswap V4 and Stargate Finance.

📢 Base doubles dapp volume to $3.78 billion

In the past 7 days, Base has seen $3.78 billion flowing into its smart contracts. The biggest contributors to this growth are Uniswap V4, which saw a 966% volume increase to $738 million. With 582% growth, Jumper Exchange also made a splash with $435 million in dapp volume.
