The chop fest continues. A few thoughts as we observe a bit of red on the screen, driven by geopolitical risk and strengthening correlations. We remain in the BTC over everything environment we've been in for months now. BTC market cap dominance is 65%, bitcoin is smoking the rest of the tokens we track in relative performance terms, and ETF flows have primarily been into BTC.  We are seeing a short-term flip from bullish to neutral price momentum on the daily timeframe, so keep an eye on this. I'm not saying we're going to jump off a cliff, but we could easily trade back to 100k within the bullish trend. Beyond bitcoin, price momentum for most tokens has been down and to the right, with the exception of BCH and AAVE. The chop fest continues, but remember, volatility equals opportunity. Cross-asset correlations have strengthened with ongoing tensions in the Middle East. I won't pretend to know how this ends, but if we do see a big risk off move and we get a rip in equity volatility, I would expect this to spill over into crypto, at least short-term. JP and the Fed are on deck, with the FOMC interest rate / press conference this afternoon. The market is pricing in almost no chance of an interest rate cut (so sad), so we don't expect much.
