ECB says stablecoins, tokenized deposits need central bank money to scale

Fidelity urged the SEC to further develop clear, comprehensive rules for broker-dealers to offer, custody, and trade crypto assets on alternative trading systems, with specific guidance for tokenized securities that vary widely in structure, legal rights, and valuation. It also called on the SEC to modernize reporting requirements to account for decentralized platforms that lack a central authority and therefore can't meet traditional disclosure expectations.
