💡 Metaverse comeback? Otherside is high demand

We already wrote about this in our latest game report, but there are signs of a comeback for the metaverse narrative. Now Otherdeed Expanded, an NFT collection associated with Yuga Labs' Otherside project, has seen their volume increase 537% to $1.12 million in the past week.

With over 1,800 sold items and $1.12 million in volume, Otherdeed Expanded is 14th in the weekly NFT rankings. The average land parcel goes for $575. That's a far stretch from the tens of thousands of dollars users paid in 2021. Nonetheless, demand is still there, and it looks like the metaverse may still be shaping up after all.

Otherside recently teased that their project is coming together. While there's also an Amazon partnership. However, the launch of $DEEDSTR (Otherdeed Strategy) by Token Works is what really brought demand for the land parcels. All this was revealed during ApeFest (see photo, credits to Otherside)
