🔵 Ronin is planning a buyback of $RON worth $4.6 million. This process will start on September 29th. Ronin is the blockchain ecosystem that serves popular Web3 games such as Axie Infinity and Pixels.

🟦 Ethereum brain child Vitalik Buterin thinks that low-risk DeFi could pave the way for Ethereum to solidify its future. Buterin compares it with what Search has done for Google: a solid product that everybody uses and creates value. (source)

🔷 The Ethereum Foundation will update the network with the Fusaka fork on December 3rd, boosting scalability, security and cutting costs. Two weeks later there will be another update for blop capacity, doubling the current amount. On January 7th there will be another blop update. (source)

🔵 Prediction platform Polymarket is looking to re-enter the US market with a $10 billion valuation. In June the company reached a $1 billion valuation. CEO Shayne Coplan confirmed the 'green light' earlier this month. Polymarket attracted over 89,000 active wallets last week, an increase of 48% from the week before.

🟦 MEXC is already listing $MON for pre-market trading, which went live this Sunday. This suggests that the mainnet release of Monad is coming very soon. We still have an airdrop guide live for Monad for those who are airdrop hunters.

🔷 PayPal Ventures has invested in Stable, the L1 network that was strongly associated with Tether and USDT. However, thanks to the PayPal investment, the $PYUSD stablecoin will also come to Stable. Seems like Stable will become a liquidity network for stablecoins.

🔥 The biggest trend in Web3: Prediction Markets

Trends come and go. This year we've seen memecoins dominate, only to be replaced by AI agents and their tokens. We've also seen InfoFi taking over, while everybody was yapping on your social media timeline. The next trend is a bit more native to crypto, because now it's all about prediction markets.

Last year during the US presidential elections, Polymarket became the talk of town. It turned out that this prediction market provided better outcome estimations than the media-favored polls. Now prediction markets are growing bigger, and making a push to reach bigger audiences.

Prediction markets are platforms where participants buy and sell shares in the outcomes of future events, turning speculation into a powerful forecasting tool. The types of events supported on these prediction markets differ, and range from crypto prices to election outcomes, and from sports results to celebrity pregnancies.

🤯 Fastest growing prediction market up 397%

Among all prediction markets, the one that's growing the fastest saw its number of active wallets go up 397%. The platform attracted over 24,000 active wallets in the past 7 days. Even more impressive, volume went up 721% to more than $55.5 million. 🤯

🦄 Unichain record Unique Active Wallets this weekend

Unichain has attracted 61,980 active wallets in the past 7 days. That's an increase of 176% from the week before. One day in particular stands out, and that's Saturday, September 20th. On that day Unichain attracted over 40,000 active wallets engaging with dapps.

That's the highest number ever recorded. With Uniswap V3, Uniswap V4, SpaceSwap, and Jumper Exchange, Unichain already offers a wide variety of DeFi services. But only one of them was responsible for that jump in activity. Which out?
