What is the best day trading setup?

First of all, there's no best day trading setup. What constitutes the best setup will depend on each trader's preferences, investment strategies they use, and budget. With that in mind, we've put together three distinct trading setups, each with different desktop PCs, monitors, and peripherals.

A good trading setup doesn't have to cost a fortune

You would be surprised how much performance you can get by spending very little, especially if you're willing to buy a refurbished computer instead of a brand-new one. Coming in at just under $730, the following setup provides the most bang for your buck.

Computer: Refurbished Dell OptiPlex 7040 ($217)

Monitor: 2x BenQ GW2785TC ($430)

The monitor of choice for our budget day trading setup is the BenQ GW2785TC, which is a decent quality 27-inch monitor for $215. Since screen real estate is the most important thing when it comes to trading, we'll be using two monitors for a total of $430. Keyboard & Mouse

There are plenty of options when it comes to computer mice and keyboards, but we've decided on the following Logitech combo due to ergonomics and reliability:

Logitech Signature K650 ($40) is a no-nonsense wireless keyboard that provides a good deal of comfort and a set of media keys.
Logitech M500s ($40) is a comfortable and solid-quality mouse with a total of 7 customizable buttons and a hyper-fast scrolling feature.
