Sep 10   READ IN APP   Hello, Thursday. Crypto’s most consequential fault lines are increasingly about control: who can secure assets, enforce rules, and shape transaction access. A guilty plea tied to more than $245 million in allegedly stolen and laundered crypto underscores the stakes, while Tether’s crackdown is pushing scam-linked operators toward USDD. That contest also reaches market structure and macro. Bitcoin is holding near $78K as investors brace for CPI on Sept. 11 and the Fed’s Sept. 15–16 meeting, events that could force a repricing of rate, oil, and policy assumptions already baked into prices. Solana’s proposed 300-millisecond speed improvement could favor fee-charging pools while shifting costs for validators and proprietary market makers. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s sell-side risk has fallen sharply from August, and Treasury’s $6 billion bond operation offers a broader liquidity test worth watching. The global crypto market cap is $2.63 trillion, with a 24-hour volume of $92.43 billion. The price of Bitcoin is $77,361.50, and BTC market dominance is 59.1%. The price of Ethereum is $2,442.19, and ETH market dominance is 11.3%. The best-performing sector is Liquid Staking, which gained 3%. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index is currently Greed (69).
