🔵 The era of the stablecoin duopoly era is ending, as USDC and USDT see their combined dominance drop to 84%. Nic Carter from Castle Island Ventures posted this on X. The inflow of traditional finance and new DeFi protocols brings lots of new stablecoin initiatives, and some of them are catching user attention. In March 2024 the two coins still had 91.4% dominance, but the arrival of Sky's USDS, Ethena's USDE and PayPal's PYUSD caused a shift. At the same time, traditional banks are also looking to issue their own stablecoins.

🟦 In the next few months you will be able to trade tokenized Stocks on Telegram, all thanks to xStocks. They already tested it in Wallet on Telegram, but they are now expanding into self-custodial solution TON Wallet. This should happen in Q4 2025. You will be able to buy stocks like $MSTR, $NVDA and another 58 US equities.

🔷US broker dealer Alpaca has launched the Instant Tokenization Network (ITN), which allows institutions to mint and redeem tokenized US stocks directly. This could boost onchain liquidity for the RWA sector.

🟦 The only ones profiting from memecoins trading are the launchpads, exchanges and bots. A research from Galaxy Research suggests that most short-term traders lose money, even though memecoins do attract many new users into the industry. (source: report)

🔷 AlphaTON Capital, listed on NASDAQ, has signed a letter of intent to purchase a 51% majority into Gamee, and invest in its $GMEE and $WAT tokens. This is a major milestone, because it signals the first time that a Web3 gaming company enters the stock market. (source)

🔵 The Sandbox has announced SANDchain, a new blockchain network by the SANDchain Foundation. The already existing $SAND token will be used for gas, governance and other activities. Interestingly, SANDchain is built on Zksync and Caldera, using the ZK Stack. The entire chain is aimed at content creators. (source)

🌽 New farming game launched on Sei Network

In September a new farming RPG launched on Sei Network, attracting over 4,160 active wallets in the past 7 days. These users interacted with the dapp's smart contracts over 464,620 times, suggesting that the game relies heavily on onchain mechanics.

SunnySide Acres has already become one of the blockchain games with the most onchain engagements per wallet. With an average of 111 transactions per wallet in the past 7 days, the game is 6th in the Rankings.

🌿 Gamers invested $2.6 million in virtual weed

Addicted.fun is the new weed farm simulator on Solana

One of the latest sensations in Web3 is the simulation game Addicted, in which players need to create a weed farm (for legal medical purposes of course). This Web3-infused game has its own token $WEED.

Nonetheless, the game is gaining traction. In its first 2 days Addicted attracted over 24,000 wallets. These users sent $2.66 million into the game's ecosystem, mentioned as dapps volume on DappRadar. That's the highest number of all games listed on DappRadar. At the same time $WEED moves around the $0.35 mark, while doing $14 million in trading volume on Meteora.

According to the official website, over 237,000 users already played the game. And supposedly only 10% engaged with the platform on the blockchain. Right now, you can only play the game with an invite code.

🟢 MARBLEX is leading Immutable zkEVM ecosystem

Gaming hub MARBLEX is quickly growing into the leading hub on Immutable zkEVM. The gaming chain is already well populated by Ubisoft, MapleStory, Illuvium and Gods Unchained, among many others. However, based on the onchain engagements, MARBLEX leads with 60,380 active wallets in the past 7 days. That's up 88% from the week before.

This growth comes from 43,670 new wallets using the dapp. However, the wallets have not generated any dapp volume, suggesting that these wallets are only extracting. MARBLEX is a gaming hub where 'fun comes first'.
