State of the Dapp Industry Q2 2025: NFTs, DeFi and AI

DappRadar publishes industry leading reports every month. Every quarter we look back as well, and that's what the State of the Dapp Industry report is all about. Some highlights from the report:

🏆 The dapp industry averaged 24.3 million daily Unique Active Wallets (dUAW) in Q2 2025, a 2.5% decline QoQ, yet still up 247% compared to early 2024.

💥 NFT trading volume dropped 45% to $867 million, yet sales soared 78% to 14.9 million, highlighting a sharp drop in average price, with an increase by 20% in the number of traders.

💙 Real-World Asset (RWA) NFTs grew 29% in volume, securing the #2 category position with Courtyard becoming the second most used NFT marketplace this quarter.

🎉 Ronin Network activity up 94% this week

Ronin Network has seen an increase of 94% on the number of dapp transactions, resulting in a total of 5.14 million. This comes from over 1 million active wallets, up 119% this week. However, the monetary value of this transactions increased only 17.8% to $18 million.

The increase in activity comes solely from the MMORPG Lumiterra, where the correlation between wallets and transactions is exactly 1 on 1. Why? Because upon studying the smart contract, players are claiming a reward and that's it. We don't see further onchain activity.

Sei Network hit record high dapp volume

Sei Network, often criticized for botting its metrics on DappRadar, has seen $1.84 billion flow into its dapp ecosystem in the past 7 days. That's an increase of 429% from the previous week. The network set a record on June 5, followed by improved numbers on June 6, reaching $602 million.

Yei Finance, Jellyverse and DragonSwap managed to push their dapp volume to new heights, resulting 300%+ increases for each of these DeFi platforms. However, collectively these three dapps attracted only a little over 3,000 active wallets.

Magic Eden sees 40% growth in NFT market struggle

Magic Eden attracts only 6,370 traders in the past week, but that's still up 40% from the week before. The NFT marketplace has difficulty growing its market share, and currently slipped to 5th place with $2.19 million in trading volume. However, in terms of the number of sales Magic Eden comes in third place, behind OpenSea and Courtyard.

WorldShards sees increased onchain action, before TGE

WorldShards is an upcoming MMORPG, built on top of blockchain technology. This means that players can own and trade in-game items, and earn from their activity in the game's ecosystem. Currently the final event before the Token Generation Event (TGE) is taking place.

In the past 30 days, 418,620 active wallets (+2.5%) have completed 1.53 million transactions (+52%). Simply put, users are moving their engagement more and more onchain. The WorldShards TGE is planned for late August, meaning there's still plenty of time to get in on the fun.

Solana sees 40% growth in NFT trading volumes

In the past 7 days, trading volume for NFTs on Solana has increased by 40% to $1.66 million. Notably, there are more buyers then sellers, suggesting a bullish momentum. Most trading happens on Magic Eden, and the Mad Lads NFT Collection is among the top performers in the ecosystem.
