*|MC_PREVIEW_TEXT|* Hello my tasty friends, please find our mid-week update below. Tariff Time. I've been a bit under the weather recently, so we're going to keep it short and semi-sweet today. On the signal front, the daily bearish trend has resumed, while not much else has changed. Crypto markets have traded sideways to lower for most of March, as we've faced a wall of uncertainty ahead of President Trump's April 2nd "Liberation Day" and related tariff announcements.  We have no idea what's going to happen or how the market will initially respond, but keep in mind Trump has a pretty good track record of taking an aggressive stance as a negotiating tactic, and then ultimately walking it back. Generally speaking, market's hate uncertainty. While everyone is leaning bearish and performance has been very poor leading up to this date, it's quite possible there's some relief, once the unknown becomes known. On a positive note, BTC's local low was around 76k on 3/11. We've been slowly moving higher off this level over the past few weeks. Building a base? Maybe.  The market knows tariffs are coming and unless they are much higher than expected, I wouldn't be surprised to see us bounce. Sell the rumor, buy the news? We'll find out soon. We couldn't hold the bounce last week and daily price momentum is back to bearish trend. Implied volatility has increased slightly ahead of today's event, but nothing to note when looking at IV Ranks. Remember, BTC and ETH implied vol was trading at yearly lows last week.
