MicroStrategy rebrands to 'Strategy' and adopts Bitcoin logo

The company's core business operations remain unchanged following the cosmetic rebrand to reflect the firm's pro-Bitcoin ethos.

MicroStrategy — a business intelligence firm and Bitcoin treasury company — has rebranded to "Strategy" and adopted a Bitcoin-themed visual marketing scheme.

According to the Feb. 5 announcement, the newly rebranded company will continue focusing on providing business intelligence software and pursuing its Bitcoin corporate treasury strategy.

BlackRock to launch Bitcoin ETP in Europe — Report

BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, is preparing to launch a Bitcoin exchange-traded product (ETP) in Europe, according to a Feb. 5 report by Bloomberg.

The move comes after BlackRock's US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), drew upward of $57 billion in net assets after launching in January 2024. BlackRock's IBIT fund is America's most popular spot Bitcoin ETF.

Bitcoin sell pressure could ramp up after 49.7K BTC onchain move

Bitcoin is facing an uneventful few days, with the crypto asset dropping under $100,000 and triggering an industry-wide liquidation event worth over $2 billion.

The community was hopeful about David Sacks' digital asset press conference on Feb. 4, but the Trump administration crypto czar delivered a diplomatic speech about a potential Bitcoin Strategic Reserve.

Sacks stated that the US president's current directive "is to evaluate" the feasibility of establishing a Bitcoin Reserve, which some commentators argue differs from Trump's campaign promises. Consequently, the odds of a US national Bitcoin reserve in 2025 dropped to 47% on PolyMarket.
